me and my bf had unprotected sex on the night i forgot to take my birth control! im on ortho-cept... i take my bc daily but i sometimes dont take it at the same time. can i be pregnant?

Odds are you aren't, on average it takes at least a couple of months for the BC chemical to get out of your system which will allow you to conceive.
That being said however nothing is 100% except not having sex.
My advice would be not to get too concerned about it unless you miss your period or experience other symptoms.
I know that I personally missed a couple of pills when I was on BC and never had an issue. The inserts will generally only recommend using a back up if you have missed 2 or more days in a row.
